But, it is same with the traditional wedding The bride is prepared in this house that is completely built according to Kurdish traditional design This family made their decision to leave the modern dancing, and make traditional party at that day We have started according to the Kurdish traditional rules We have broken sugar on her head, and we put red Tara on her head We put Hana on her hands, and it is my father's dream My father decided about this kind of ceremony when my brother was born Thanks to god, his dream become real, and we have seen our only brother, we are 7 sisters with only one bro There is Halhala sound from the home of the bride It is alert for others, it means that the bride is ready to go The groom relatives are ridding It is for welcoming the bridethe horses for groom and bride are ready The groom family are under Kurdish tent, and they are ready to welcome the bride This ceremony is my father's dream since I was child, he had this idea for me Thanks to god that his dream comes true We have done a great thing, and I am really happy that we do something different from others We are proud by our culture I am proud by this Dawar (Kurdish traditional tent) which is Kurdish I am proud by my Kurdish clothing I am proud by this Brnou that is used to get freedom I am really happy with this ceremony that is made for my daughter Thanks to the groom family They made my daughter happier I hope to be happy with her husband Kurdish traditional food is a part of Kurdish ceremonies The women are cooking to offer it There is 11 big pots of Kurdish cuisine Those are making the food, they were a bride one day It is Kurdish rice I tasted the rice of the ceremony 🙂 Everyone is happy with this ceremony, and the village is looks like completely Kurdish Some of the participants dance in a different way This dance relive their memories I remember when I was child and living in a village, my father and mother danced and cooked They cooked Kurdish rice, meat, and bean We brought the bride and put Red Tara on her head Previously, we danced in this way However, it is really crowded and it is a bit challenging But, people were fewer in the past 4 to 6 villages were invited and all of them were coming It was really nice, but nowadays is not like that, for example now I would like to use my gun but its prohabited My speech for young people is that to keep Kurdish culture Ceremonies like that, religious and national ceremonies in particular in Newroz which is the Kurdish national feast Zalal village is in Chwarta district and 60 km far from Sulaymanya It is in the center of the mountains of Sharbazher The photos of bride and groom become their memory Their dancing become nice speech for others and people would talk about it The locals of Zalal village wants to invite all the people around They want to say that Kurdish culture is really amazing and can make us to meet It can become a link for the new generation to understand the Kurdish ceremonies better Reporter: Shadi RasulTranslator: Kurd vids.
